RE: Happy Holidays
To all of our 911 family,
2020 has been a tough year. We have all seen many things in our careers but 2020 brought new challenges. But as we always do, we met the challenges head on. We dug deep. We found strength we did not know that we had. We helped others sort through this new normal even as we ourselves were under attack. We stood strong and steadfast. We cried but we persevered. We did not know how we would make it through, but we did. There we many times that some of us thought about giving up, but here we are.
In spite of everything we saw in 2020, GA APCO and GA NENA wanted to come together and say thank you. Thank you for being resilient. Thank you for being there for every single responder that needed you on the other side of the radio. Thank you because every single one of you are amazing. Thank you for choosing this profession. Thank you for holding on. Thank you for helping us all figure it out. Thank you.
As we approach the holiday season, we wish you all many blessings. Enjoy as much time with your family and friends as possible. 2021 is approaching. We look forward to getting together at some point when it is safe to do so, to hear your stories and best practices so that we can be better prepared for next time. But most importantly, we want to see you and hug you and look in your eyes, when it is safe to do so.
We are thankful for you all and we continue to pray for each other. Wishing you a New Year of many blessings.
